Impact of ICT learning Process in My Life as a Student: Is it Important in Education?

ICT has greatly aided in the advancement of communication methods and speeds. It has become

a crucial aspect of contemporary life that living without it would be almost as if we were reverting to our old laborious methods of connecting with individuals who are far away. It's also a big assistance when we're trying to solve real-world challenges. While this is true, it is evident that ICT has negative consequences.

It is often assumed that ICT has a favorable impact on education and the learning process – and this is correct. It does make a difference, but there is always too much of a good thing for something not to have negative consequences, therefore ICT inevitably has a negative impact on the learning process.

Before I go on regarding the negative consequences of ICT, let's start with the positives. First and foremost, it stimulates students. And "how does ICT encourage students?" " you may inquire. Well, the learners' research is made easier, which is a sufficient motive for me. All that is required of the students is a few minutes of browsing, clicking, and typing.

It's a lot easier than going to the library and painstakingly scanning through a few volumes. Another advantage is that it allows you to conduct research and study at any time. Gathering information for school projects is now more easier and less time demanding than it was previously. Let us now turn our attention to the negative consequences.

In many circumstances, ICT becomes so much of a source of amusement that it diverts everyone's attention away from what they should be doing. Students become so engrossed in social media and the internet that it disrupts their studying process. For the purpose of surfing the web, school and education are put on hold. Their sleeping pattern is disrupted. Eye bags are thicker and more noticeable. Their health begins to worsen. Grades are dropping. There is chaos everywhere. ICT helps, but also destroys. Don’t let it take control of you. Take control of it.
